Introduction

This program was designed by James Deckert, a computer programmer since 1984. In 1995, James opened his own comic book, and game store. It was this experience which he used to design the computerized comic book ordering system.

The ComicBook Pull File (CBPF) system was designed to help him keep track of customers orders. It was a gradual process which took place over several years. Diamonds' computer ordering system, didn't need to be replaced. Instead, there was much more that needed to be done, thus he wrote this program as a complement to the Previews on Windows system which Diamond distributes to retailers.

The name of the game in business is to cut expenses and thus increase profits. The way that the CBPF helps is to reduce labor costs and the manual labor of calculating order numbers. It also reduces the likelihood of overlooking items which the customer wants. This combination of saving time and reducing errors will give the owner/manager/employee more time to interact with customers and take care of the store, increase customer loyalty and satisfaction, and make the ownership of a business a more enjoyable experience.

We hope this program saves you time.
